Saanu Kee

Punjabi Stand-Up Comedy

The first ever Punjabi stand-up comedy show, Saanu Kee?, will feature Amit Tandon and Maheep Singh. The two Punjabi men were born in the same city and the same hospital to different parents, but they were separated by fate. They have been reunited on stage by one common thing - sense of humor. Or as Punjabis know it - 'humor', for the lack of sense.

They are firm believers of the fact that everything becomes funny once it's translated into Punjabi. Because of this, they decided to put up the first ever stand-up show in Punjabi. Saanu Kee, the most commonly-used phrase in Punjabi, roughly means ''none of our business''. Naturally, it is used before and after every time someone poke their noses in everybody else's business.

The two most notable Punjabi stand-up comedians present a totally new comedy show in easy-to-understand Punjabi. So if you are a non-Punjabi Delhiite, or even a Punjabi, you probably won't be able to make heads or tails of what these guys actually mean.
